A Touch of an Angel

I walk this journey feeling so alone,
My heart cries out for a place to call home.
My eyes search the heavens above,
As I see it's beauty and feeling it's love.

A touch upon my heart, a feeling of relief,
As I feel an angel coming to seek.
As the air flutters across my cheek,
A divine presence is there so sweet.

He comforts my soul in that much needed hour,
Giving assurance, the pain he devours.
Filling me with peace with his presence so pure,
Just letting me know that my life is secure.

An angel came that night for me,
As I searched my soul, he made me see.
Through all life's burdens we have someone that cares,
We just need to seek our angel aware.
